The always connected application of the Dutch start-up Lyfo will be launched next week at both TBX in Utrecht and at Critical Communications World in Madrid. Lyfo makes sure you stay connected in places and moments where your own provider doesn’t offer coverage. The Lyfo app then automatically connects you to another available network. Perfect for emergency services, but also for many other applications.
Lyfo was founded by Maurits Zandbergen, who was previously successful with RadioAcces, market leader with indoor mobile solutions, DAS and private LTE and GSM networks. This company was sold to Koning & Hartman at the end of 2014. Zandbergen then started Lyfo with some former colleagues, a one hundred percent Dutch software engineering company that builds creative solutions for challenges in mobile telecommunications. Halfway through this year Lyfo was founded.
Guaranteed coverage
“With Lyfo we offer guaranteed coverage on mobile networks. A unique solution for which there is a great need,” says Zandbergen. “Especially now, with the advent of 5G, more and more mission-critical and business-critical services are using public networks. The outage at VodafoneZiggo in recent weeks showed just what consequences this can have. Especially when lives are at stake.”
Zandbergen: “Reliable connectivity can be the difference between mission success and failure, and sometimes even life or death. Lyfo offers a solution that gives you access to the best available mobile network on the ground. Enabling your people to communicate where conventional networks cannot meet the requirements.”
Two trade shows
As mentioned, the premiere of Lyfo will take place at TBX in Utrecht (Netherlands) and CCW in Madrid (Spain).
TBX (Tech Business Accelerate) is a new IT event, previously known as Infosecurity, Data and Cloud Expo. It will take place on November 3 and 4 at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Lyfo will make its debut in the Future Lab pavilion. Here suppliers will exhibit that offer new innovative applications. These can be seen in the form of showcases, demos and pitch stages. The idea of the organization is that you can see futuristic technology here, which you can already apply in your business.
Critical Communications World is an annual event for the global critical communications market. Visit Lyfo at booth E67 and experience the Lyfo application.
